Incorporating Your Style

Castle Park is one of those dreamy magical places that once it is a part of you, it always holds a special place in your heart.  The Castle itself is a great meeting place and in the basement is the Olde Timers Room, which is an old bar space that holds lovely memories for many residents and their families.  Castle Park reminds me of the Vacation Setting for Dirty Dancing, I love the common areas, and there is always a tennis match, burger, broil or dance going on. With this type of venue where the families have been connected and their kids have grown up with one another, creating a unique day for each couple can seem daunting. We had nine weddings at Castle Park

Soft Colors, Greenery and Beautiful Vintage Details

Soft Colors, Greenery and Beautiful Vintage Details

As we make our way back to Sundance Studios this weekend, we can’t help but reminisce on this gorgeous wedding. This venue is the perfect spot for all things vintage and more! Take a peek at this beautiful wedding shot by The Colagrossis. And be on the lookout for more from this weekend’s event. Soft Colors and a Love of Vintage This venue is stunning on its own but combined with elegant linen, vintage accents, and lush greenery, it’s the perfect equation for a fabulous wedding. We love the rose accented linen that provides texture and dimension to the table. The decision to opt-in for a textured linen over a basic white is almost always a great choice! This couple chose a cream and gold dinner plate

Haley’s Staff Pick: Dreamy Boho Romance

September 10, 2016, started out as a cool rainy day; but ended with a newlywed couple under a clear top tent with a warm sunset above them. This wedding is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been a part of setting up. My job here at The Rental Company is mostly office work. Quite often though I will go into the field as a member of the white glove team and go to the event site and help put everything into place.  A real life fairytale. The reception was held at Roan and Black in Douglas, MI. This reception used our farmhouse tables and chairs with white pads. One thing I love the most about this event is the boho/contemporary theme. Mixing the

Matt and Brian’s Navy and Kelly Green Wedding

This month’s featured wedding is a gorgeous backyard wedding complete with a tent, lighting and farmhouse tables – just one of our favorite combinations. The love these two have for each of is undeniable and so clear in the photos! Enjoy their navy and kelly green accents and beautiful decor. All of the details compliment each other so well!   A Well-Designed Color Scheme: Navy and Kelly Green   Farmhouse tables always look nice outdoors. When combined with navy and kelly green, the tables are especially stunning. You may have seen those two chairs in our design room. The navy and kelly green chairs found their home at The Rental Company because of this wedding! Look at those happy faces!   Matt and Brian had an

Elegant and Outdoorsy

This month’s featured wedding is an oldie but a goodie! The couple used elegant designs, beautiful floral arrangements, and had the perfect venue – their family home! We love when couples are able to uniquely design their wedding at a private property. By having open space in the yard, we were able to set up a beautiful tent along with an exposed dance floor. The wooded area was a stunning backdrop for the farmhouse tables, mahogany chairs, and floral by Jonker’s Garden. Use inspiration from the photos by Whitney Leigh Photography for your own event! The location allowed for personal touches and a unique layout. And we have to thank Mother Nature for cooperating with this partially ‘under the stars’ event. Having an outdoor wedding can be
