Labor Day Party, Anyone?

Labor Day Party, Anyone?

With the summer drawing to a close, you’re probably trying to come up with a big elaborate plan for one final party. Especially if you or someone in your family is going back to school in the next few weeks like I am. I know I would love to throw a big gathering before finishing my last year in Early College. If you feel the way I do, look no further than a cocktail party for Labor Day. Cocktail parties are great for bringing families and friends together before heading into the fall (and they are very easy to plan). To help you get inspired, I’ve thrown together some different table ideas that are easy and fun. Look 1 This look is certainly star spangled,

Behind the Scenes: Shelbey Plans Her Own Wedding

Wedding planning is tough work. I know that from working at The Rental Company. But I also know that because I am in the middle of planning my own! As you continue planning your event, I will be right alongside doing the same. Let’s just say I “get it” now more than ever.   Picking a Wedding Date When you work in the wedding industry and your fiance coaches football, picking a wedding date is not easy. Scroll up – notice how many of their attendants have this same look with blue dresses and bright flowers? That’s

Happy Birthday, Robyn!

Happy Birthday, Robyn!

In celebration of a special birthday this Sunday, we thought we’d give you the inside scoop on all things Robyn. I sat down last Thursday with Robyn to talk about the good, the better, and the inspiring. For those of you who don’t know Robyn, here is a little bit of insight! Meet Robyn: Robyn is a strong, independent woman with passion and drive for everything she does. She owns 2 horses, 4 mini horses, a baby mini pony, and another mini baby that should be here any day now! In addition to horses, she also has accumulated chickens, ducks and, of course, has multiple cats and dogs. Living the dream if you ask me! Robyn has owned The Rental Company for over 14 years

Lighting Up Your Event

Lighting Up Your Event

DJs create clubs under tents with some strategic lighting maneuvers.Even simple lighting helps caterers get food cleared from tables without tripping. Wondering what your options are as far as lighting goes?  String Lighting String lighting covers patios, creates beautiful swags of light in tents, and illuminates the edges of a basic space. It varies from simple bulbs for safety lighting to stunning large bulbs that make a magnificent statement. Chandeliers Chandeliers help you to make a bold statement above a dance floor or throughout your tent/venue. They help to draw the eye to a focal point. Transform your space by imbuing the specific vibe
